GT started making a name for
himself as part of the Los Angeles
music scene. When he released
his first record in 1998, Ultimate,
songs from the EP began airing
on college and commercial
radio stations across
North America.
Is GT worried that fans might not
like his more "hip-hop" style?
Not at all. When asked about
potential criticism about switching
styles, this versatile artist replied:
"I play what I like. I don't try to
conform to a genre. The music
speaks for itself."
